Changed the oil in my grandsons Rav4 tell me this isnt what I think it is.

My milkshake brings all the boys to the yard.... Sure looks like Orange antifreeze I think they call it Asian car antifreeze.
 
Contact Toyota and see if it's covered by one of their warranty extensions.
 
You were right Roger they had problems with oil and head gaskets.
Thanks.....I found all that out after I bought a car with that engine for my wife. :cursin:

Uses more oil than it should. In contrast, my son's 2002 Corolla uses hardly any oil and is as reliable as a Swiss watch.
 
The antifreeze is rather hard on the rest of the components.
Pressurize the coolant system and see how fast it leaks down. Maybe pull the plugs and see if there's any "clean" ones. Maybe just a head gasket.
 
Never knew Toyota had a bad engine,thats why I bought it.
Yep....I thought that also. The more I looked, the more duds I saw.

I only regret not consulting my mechanic friend prior to purchase. The dealer knowingly sold me a lemon.
