Howdy Folks... So... trying to find a 90 degree boot/terminal/connector to replace the factory one. The wiring to it has breaks and isn't giving good continuity.

I found this,

http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-90-Degr...Parts_Accessories&hash=item2587d7ae65&vxp=mtr

But it appears to be just another Dorman 85845 which is too small to fit on the sending unit stud.

What are you guys using and were have you found replacements?

Thanks Nacho...

I think the one I got was for the #8 stud. I was going to order but @ $11.oo shipping that kinds of kills it. I did find this one however

http://www.ebay.com/itm/160810976354

Which looks to be bigger. I'll shop around for price on that one and give it a try.

Looking at the prices at chargerspecialties.com was eye opening. $1.00 for a brass spade terminal? Wow! For any of you that need electrical terminals or terminal covers, check out Delcitywire.com You can buy good quality stuff at decent prices.

I assume the fuel sender terminal would be the same? Might be easier to find a used one of those

my intention was to show the diff about the size you advertised on the ebay ones and posting maybe was related to the stud.

now, MOSTLY SURE, you can find it locally at parts shops, in 1/4 of the price.

I post an example

search for the 330 bulb for 71/72 fender turn signals on ebay, and will find them priced in $8-10 a pair. Now go to bulbtown.com and search the same bulb in less than a buck each... 63 cents as far I recall. And I know their shipping quotes are decent. Of course way better if you make a decent order of bulbs set for your car like I did once.

You'll find the Dorman 85845 terminal on rockauto... $1.04

Rockauto uses to have really decent and honest shipping prices.

having the PN, the search on regular part shops makes an easy way to save money from the egouges

found the "conduct tite" 85144 conector being sold on ebay, at rock auto in $3.43 under Dorman brand, same PN. And I know they are able to charge even $2 for shipping small parts like that

( which in fact IS A FACT. Added to cart and they charge $1.97 for shipping the conector )
