I googled John Hovas and came up with the attached link to 6 companies. I researched further and it looks primarily that real estate was thenfamily business named Walco Properties (1965) then branched out to other investments. Looks like all the stars were lined up for this guy. He says that his Dad immigrated from Armania, so he is a first generation born in America. See a link of companies:

He is 59 years old and Hovas' son runs the family tool business . Must have designed or invented something that made him rich. He is in Texas, maybe tools to drill oil, who knows. Always interesting to see how the better 1% live.

I've got a good buddy worth a few hundred million, and a few customers/ customers turned buddies not quite up there but still up there...it is interesting listening to them tell how they made it that far financially. None of them were born into wealth, well I take that back, 1 is ! But they are very down to earth guys who love sharing their successes along with a few tips and possibe nudges in the right direction!
