County Farm Rd / DiddyWaaaahhhhh IL !
Under a full moon about midnight !
Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaa waaaaaaaaaaaas
Waaaaaaaa Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
Oh I did it too out on Ygnacio Valley rd, between Concord & WC
lots of really fast cars, I even took my T/S cars out there a few times
I just lived right over the hill, from where we had marked out 2
1/4 mile tracks, starts at the stoplights, one going to Concord,
going towards Clayton Rd/Treat Blvd, one going towards WC,
on the other side of that 4 lane rd. about 5/8" mile between lights & dead stright/flat
for being on a hill
for a bout 10 years after cruising
at one of the local cruise, Walnut Creek or Concord, was big back then
from like 1975-85, every Fri. & Sat. Night, till about 2 am
that I was out racing somewhere else
up in Sacramento on El Camino
Sacramento out on Smith Rd, by the Rancho Seco Nuke plant
over in Fairfield on Ball Cannery Rd. by Travis AFB
out in Antioch by the drive in theater, side rd by hwy 4
10th street in Pittsburg by the PG&E powerplant
out in Modesto, like portrayed in American Graffiti,
some rural road outside of town, it wasn't called Paradise Rd either
out in Oakland by the Estuary & by the airport frontage rd
those were the days, it was rural 'sort of' back then, not the millions like today
it's full of condos now
