2004 std. cab short bed SLT 4x4 5.7hemi.
I've owned it since then and love the dang thing, 167k worry-free miles later.![]()
A man after me own heart......!I'll stick with my 84 W350 crewcab that I built...converted from 2wd to 4wd and swapped in a 93 1st gen drivetrain and a ton of other upgrades and parts.

If I recall you had a R/T Challenger 70,71?

Well used to be mine, just sold for 15k, not to bad of a return for a 150k mile truck. paid 38k new for it. that's about 15.3 ct. a mile, plus fuel, plates, maintenance, and insurance, yikes!i love my 2014 ram which held up pretty good 150k milesView attachment 1022858 i still have, but these new ones are just wow
A few notes-
The 93/94 Ram- That truck changed the truck industry esp design for ever.
vw rabbit vs Omni- The first gen Omni/Horizon actually used vw/audi sourced 1.8l engine blocks!
...and I agree the truck design school seems to have come down with something previously known as "ugly van contest" syndrome.
However, IMO the Ram is currently the least offensive despite having an early lead.
