This makes me sick to my stomach.

Very well put. In my case mine was a rusted up SE 318 Charger missing the whole drivetrain and interior, doubt many would invest the time to fix it up given it's lack of value but that's one more Charger on the streets. To me this hobby is more about having fun and creating memories than it is about an investment.

To me the '68 - '74 Dodge Chargers are the best in automotive styling. My '72 400-4bbl Charger is still my favorite when it comes to looks. I, like you, enjoy the friendship and camaraderie over the common appreciation of 'the car.' As a Mopar guy, I still remind my Ford friends that Ford is the most truthful car company when it comes to defects...they've circled the problem and highlighted it blue.

It sure seems to be getting a lot of attention, for being so bad.

I love the Charger's 2nd gen Body-styles

I'm not a fan of the wheels the guy chose,
but;
it' is what it is, it's not my car, not my choices

I do really like the resto-mod & pro-touring style
I've always liked day 2 cars too, I can respect all aspects of builds,
if not too overly done, I like them low with modern touches too,
just not over done, but to each their own...

IMO the world would be boring *** hell
if everyone had the same style in builds,
everyone had poverty caps on OEM rides

too big of diameter wheels & {like 22"+} on older muscle cars
especially with too little side wall, just doesn't fit my personal taste,
but that's just me, wheels can make or break a build...
