The pump is on my work bench and I was wondering if there is a tool for removing the pressed on pulley? I saw a tool at O'Reillys ($26) for a GM and they didn't know if it would work or not. I already have the Mancini front suspension kit plus pitman arm pullers.

Rent or buy a puller from a auto store.Recommended method to support the backside of the shaft (inside the PS reservoir) while pressing the pulley on....finding all of the proper "pry" spots to evenly back off reservoir from the pump without distorting the lip on the reservoir.

mine came with a saginaw with the oval filler neck, dont put any pressure on this neck, it's only pressed on and it will leak if it goes a little cock eyed. And good luck trying to seat it again. Auto zone will lend tools to you, they have pullers they ask for a 30.00 deposit and refund it on return

most have a threaded hole in shaft so you can use a bolt or ready rod , nut and washers to pull it back on
if you want to make it easy put pulley in oven at 350 and pump in freezer

Use of heat and cold is a great idea. I used to input shaft bushings in the freezer overnight before putting them in the pilot hole. Then let them warm up to normal temp and they're in there good.
