Hey guys,

Im having trunk pans installed in my 1969 Plymouth Satellite, I need to know if anyone makes the trunk wire harness retainers? You know the wire/metal coated things that bend around the wires that were painted body color from the factory. I need about 4 of them if anyone knows a company who repops them.

Thanks,
Seth

Hi seth,I have made my Owen in the past out of old fender metal cut out with tin snips.then drill a 1/4in.hole in center and spot weld in.use some liquid tape on the ends.or it doesnt take much to get the old ones out..Artie

I did the same as godfather. Works well and nobody can tell the difference from the factory ones.

I thought about adding these after paint with a dab of sealant and a pop rivit (firewall tabs too)
Paint the strips of sheet metal and plasti-dip the ends before install.

I think this would work in the trunk, but you'd see the rivit head from the underside if you care. May have water/rust issues from underside so you'd want to cover it with a little blob of sealant.

Thanks for the answers guys. I let the guy putting the pans in know and he said he would fab them up for me.
