Turn signal lever to switch

I went with a Shee-Mar aftermarket turn signal switch based on some good reviews/reports. It appears to be well built and functions properly but there is a slight difference in the notches where the turn signal lever mates up with the switch. They don’t seem quite wide enough. I could probably hit it with a dremel but wanted to see if anyone else experienced this.
