Unbelievable .... Some people have no shame

There is a segment of society that have figured out the methods of scamming in so many different ways. It is basically their "way of life". Whether it's governmental, businesses, they have their plan to manipulate it.

and no one dare call them on it for fear of being labled "racist"

Friend of mine's ex-husband had a law degree. Never passed the bar, never even signed up to take the bar. He wanted a law degree to "legally fleece" (his terminology) federal, state, and local government. He did very well at it. Applied for various grants and won funds and provided nothing, approved for various disabilities, even sued two different Ponderosa franchises and settled out of court for $250,000. She ended up divorcing the leech (although admitted at first she was impressed with his capabilities to manipulate the systems).

Yes, there is no shame today.

I hate when I screw up when I order something wrong. When its my mistake I always tell them I screwed up. Unfortunately it seems that extremely rare to have a customer do that. Different topic but same result. My culvert washed out on my driveway in a big rain event. I ordered a premade concrete one, dug the hole to set the four parts in. They came set them in with crane. I stood below creek looking up at it and thought what the heck were you thinking when you had this dug out. It wasn’t even close to lining up with the creek normal flow. I called them they are a busy company I waited 2 months to get the tiling made. I told them my eyes must have been crossed when I marked it out. Lol After I had more ground removed they came right out and moved it for me for a fee of course. I wouldn’t expect them to not charge me for my mistake. I would not be able to take used stuff back without calling people out and telling them about it. If course then your out your job.

Does she make $12.50 an hour and wants a BMW?

The political link suggests that she was a greedy person using a generous return policy to her advantage. Maybe she bought the Christmas decorations with every intention of keeping them, but she lost her $12.50 job at the VA hospital because of the Trump cuts and is desperate.

None of the stores or dealerships I worked at would take any returns if it was opened or used. Some of the repair shops we dealt with tried but we put it right back on them as they wouldn't accept any parts that had been opened. Several of them went elsewhere. No loss on our end as they were generally prima donna's anyway. Electrical items got inspected for signs of install, carb's[ there were many] got the sniff test.

A “legitimate” lawyer I worked for early in my career advised me to bulk up my billable hours. That was the first time I traded a desk for truck driving.
