Update on the turbo Duster

Sent the body and mock up motor to a friend to rework the exhaust to fit the Duster. Damn tight. Kyle worked miracles. The parts that weren't stainless got coated. Then it was race season. So now we are back at it. Received the motor parts back from machining. It hurt one piston when it ws last run on my sons 62 Savoy. So one sleeve, new Diamond pistons, bearings, rings, valve job. Ready to go, but no wait. The oil return line at the pan from the turbo hits the motor mount bracket on the K frame. So I'll address that. Installing the rear glass and windshield today. We waited a year for 3m bedding compound. Finally found CRL as a substitute. Works nice. I hate installing glass. One glass down, one to go.

Hard to see but the bottom of the cell is tapered downward in the center. Also the cell is higher than the pump so it gravity feeds.

Did you use similar sized plates under the trunk floor? All thread rods? Good idea Doug.

They are bolts. The plates underneath go all the way across from bolt to bolt.
