Good evening all! I’m working on the wiring for my 1968 Road runner. I have figured out most of it connectors but I don’t know about these 2 brown wires. The look similar to the washer switch connectors but they differ in the style of internal connector. Any help would be appreciated thank you

The ones in my hand ar the ones in question. The other 2 are hooked to the washer switch

Wiper switch. As I recall one of the switch spades has a barb for the wire terminal with the slot to fit on to. Two speed will just use just the one wire and a three speed will use both. Like I said as I remember. Look at the wiring schematic.

Yep 2 brown of wiper switch and 2 brown on washer,3 spd wiper. 1 brown wire will have a white tracer and I believe it gos to the washer.

Good evening all! I would like to share some information with all of you regarding the 3 speed wiper motor wiring in the dash of a 1968 road runner. First of all I want to thank everyone for your help! It made a great difference. Second of all! I highly recommend that anyone doing any electrical work on their 1968 Plymouth go and get one of those full color large print schematics off EBay or where ever they are worth it. So with that being said there are 3 brown wires and 1 brown wire with a white tracer that are associated with the 3 speed wiper wiring. The picture that Dadsbee posted was not exactly correct. The one brown wire with the white tracer attaches to a bottom terminal on the wiper switch. The other wire ( solid brown connects to the terminal on the top left side. I ended up using a meter to confirm continuity between the brown wire and the washer switch connectors.I further rang the wires to pin M on the bulkhead connector to confirm continuity. Thanks for all of the help

Ps there are only 2 wires that connect to the wiper switch not 3 as the picture of the back of the wiper switch shows

Your wiring diagram shows exactly what I posted with that "borrowed" wiper switch picture, pink top left / blue next down, so unsure what's not correct.

There is only one wire with a white tracer and that there is only one brown wire not a double that comes off the wiper switch on lower left terminal that is shown on the borrowed picture.

..and I will contend once again that the switch picture and your colored wiring diagram match 100%.

There have also been many errors in these "coloured" wiring diagrams, it's better to just read the coding in the FSM. BUT that even said, there are also errors in the FSM, especially the 1970 where they show 4 wire connections for the ignition key circuit plugs swapped.
