671 Detroit 2 stroke with a 4 speed Splicer riding on 24.5 Firestone Radials... Riveted aircraft fluted aluminum siding/trim. Gets 10-12 MPG.
I think it was neat that in '51 and '52 when this bus was designed the GM Engineers used the "forward motion" look as a selling point. Most were sold new to Greyhound or Trailways, mine was sold new to Jack Rabbit Bus lines out of Sioux Falls. I hesitated on posting the picture but thought some might find the forward look design interesting.
