My '71 Road Runner when I bought it as a restored stocker in 2001 and then in 2007:



And last Christmas:

Here we go... 68 RR 383 4spd numbers matching hardtop. Was torn apart years ago and left to die. Found it in the clutches of a Chevy owner who was slowly peddling parts from it. Its safe now, but an ambitious project.

No gasket. It was just sort of laying in there.

It's one of the few pics I have of the car from back then, in those days I rarely took pics that I would love to have today like family, friends and all my cars I've had.

Let's see, have the car ten years now so, 10 years plus. It took me about 6 years to get it on the road. I did it in my driveway, so not much was done in the winters.
