Went thru a pretty extensive eye exam at the Mather VA this morning.
Guess i did well, as the doc said i would be years and years away from developing any kind of cataract issues.
So, I'm a happy camper.

I cut down two trees by hand. The chainsaw is pulling back on the cord. Have not found the problem so far. I gave away the trees for firewood, so the new owner can cut them up.
Ozzy David can pull the roots out with his grapple grommet digger thing.

Out in the shop....had a couple of plastic gas cans that didn't have a spout so got to digging around and got them fixed up. Wife is home from doing some chores at the other house so now we're having a couple of drinks and have a fire going and I'll get up to feed it when needed. Nothing like fresh pecan wood burning! Just have to mix in some dry oak from time to time..

Fixed the microwave, the magnetron thermostat failed. Last week it was the heating coil for the clothes dryer.
Stuff is getting on my nerves.

Shirley bought a new furnace two years ago. Got the service and extended warranty plan. Furnace folks have been here eight times to fix it. Soon they will be here with electric heaters. On Wdnesday they will put in a new unit.

I tried to recover $17,000 stolen (escheated, heavy on the cheat part) by the state of California.
NOTHING done on the internet works properly, and I can't talk to a human.
I guess a 300 mile trip into LA is in order.
Could be worse. Only other office is in Sacramento.

started building a laboratory about 45 minutes north of here at a place called Uncle Skunk's, they make THC distillates they combine with different flavorings. The new Prozac.

Collected my old broken Western Digital HDD from the Indian repair shop....and a new plug-in HDD to store stuff on. Everything was successfully recovered. Now I have all the photos again.

Lesson learned....store at least two copies on USB sticks for now plus the removable HDD.

Got a new microwave recently....light is dim when the door is opened and bright while cooking. Oh well. And ALL of my major appliances are OLD. The dryer came from street side with a broken door switch probably 7 years ago. AC is 15, water heater is older. Maytag washer is probably around 12 and has always been a POS. The fridge is a 97 model.....thinking everything is gonna go out all at the same time lol
