What makes a “Firm Feel” box?

I'm sure someone would trade the OP for a "regular" box.

BTW- 80's M body cars had "cop boxes" that are a bit firmer than std but not like a firm feel rebuild.
 
"Welded up lowers" is probably what he's referring as welding pre-fab plates to the underside of stock LCA to add rigidity.
Got it. I thought he meant welding the lowers to make them solid or something. :rofl: :rofl:
