Toss in some bacon and country ham, too... no sense in going half-assed here.

Oh - and have your cardiac doctors' phone number on speed dial. You'll need that.
Been there to the old waffle house !
Looks great Ed. Just thinking out loud here the bacon and ham prob wont fly in the UAE. :D Mabey a breakfast size ribeye ?

It will but its hard to find pork here.

Pork??
Consuming pork is not illegal for non-Muslims in the UAE. If a Muslim is caught eating pork they could be fined or jailed under article 312 of the UAE Federal Penal Law .

I owned a restaurant in Ontario Canada 10 yrs ago before I retired. I loved the business and it did very well. The soul sucking issue that made the whole thing undesirable was KITCHEN STAFFING. It didn't matter what I paid them. They were unreliable, hard to find and generally didn't care because they could find a job elsewhere tomorrow. How is it finding good solid reliable kitchen staff in the UAE?

Portabella Mushroom Burger with all the fixin's.

It’s not hard but I mainly make a relationship with my staff and make a family like bond. It’s the best way to do it, but there are definitely people that dont care out here and you just have to learn to pay attention to detail of what people do and say eventually you will find some good people like I did

It is a bit hard to explain but rule of thumb apon the first interview if you don’t make a halfway decent relationship with them then let them go becuase they are likely not open to communicating and helping out

If we did happen to ever serve pork though it would have to be on a separate grill specially for pork

Filipinos love chicken, pork and seafood. And don't forget the rice or its just a snack. Chicken/pork adobo, pancit, lumpia all my favorites.
If you don't mind me asking, what is the average wage for a cook there? Here in Ontario Canada the average is between $17-$20/hr. A certified chef in a nice restaurant is around $25/hr average. Even at those wages they are hard to find. They can easily get a job at similar pay doing less greasy/hot work.

Thin crust New Haven style pizza. Good luck finding that overseas.
