what torque converter to use

451 storker engine 727 tranny dana 60 373 gear camshaft is a mechanical
.557 lift 296-296-76 110 centerline purple shaft
not sure what converter to use
local driving not much highway
 
You dont say what heads you are using. But I have a close build to yours. My 63 Sport Fury is a .030 over 440 with 906 heads and 10.0 comp as it runs fine on 92 pump. I also use the MP .557 cam but I have 4.30's with 30 x 9 tires. I use a 9.5 Dynamic that flashes about 4200 and drives like a normal converter on the street. Best bet is to call the converter company you plan to use and tell them all the combo info they need to pick you the right converter for your combo. Ron
 
Give ATI a call. They are great to do business with. I'm betting 9 or 9.5 4200-4400 stall
