Besides BE COOL who makes a good big block plymouth radiator that is not out of control expensive, can handle some decent HP,and doesnt require tons of modifications,if anybody has any input let me know your help is always appreciated thanks a lot!

have u ever heard of champion radiators?

has anyone ever heard of champion radiators? I found them on ebay when I typed in the search 69 plymouth satellite radiators and the champion radiators came up,cost is 219.95 plus shipping says its up to 750hp rated, the price is definently right and I am very aware that sometimes u just get what u pay for,but considering be cool radiators are so damn expensive for low HP rated radiators im considering giving these champion ones a shot any info would be helpful, thanks alot!

I've done some research and been asking some questions about these for a while. Every thing I've heard is positive granted they are overseas produced but that doesn't bother me if the quality is there. I'll be buying one of these when it comes time.

Nothing wrong with those and work fine.Seem to be made well.Put one in my gasser coupe last year and so far so good.

Cool thanks for the info think im gonna order this 2day,im kinda on a tight budget seeing as my job went down the crapper,so building a car on unemployment isnt easy.

I bought a 22" radiator from U.S. Radiator for my hemi when I put it in my RR. It's brass and made with 3 or 4 rows. Also it's a triple pass radiator. They put baffles in the tanks so the coolant is in the radiator much longer than a standard radiator. I really like it, if anything my engine might run a little bit cool. They are somewhat expensive but not compared to many others out there. Here's the website,

I don't know any Mopar guys running them but there are a few Ford dudes out here that like them. If I'm not mistaken Northern is the manufacturer for Summit's radiators. But like I said before a lot of guys are running the Champion Rads and love them. Also they are a little more expensive but www.alumorad.com carries some good radiators that a couple on moparts swear by. Just remember when buying a radiator don't buy into the hype of more rows = better radiator that is not true. The quality of cooling for a radiator is determined by the fin density per square inch and core thickness.

summit has a line of aluminum direct fit rads. i've never personally used one so i can't tell you anything about quality but that's one option i guess. You can always go to year one or some resto. company and get a stock replacement type one

where can i find a price for the U.S.radiators?

the 22 inch radiator would be a good selection for the radiator, will it cool a 550 HP car though? also I contacted the guys from alumarod and he said the 26 inch radiator would require some modification since im going from a 318 to a 440,how hard is it to relocate the battery to the trunk? can you by any chance let me know what you paid for your U.S radiator?

Hey Ben69, there is a company called "Wizard Radiators" in Hamburg NY that is very good. They make a direct fit Alum. 956 copy radiator with a shroud. They can provide it setup with twin electric fans if that what your after. They come plain finish or show polished.

US Radiator

My 22" US radiator is cooling a hemi with about 600 honest crank horsepower. As I said if anything it runs a bit cool but I have not yet been in traffic in 100 degree weather. I am pretty sure it's up to the job. I am also using the 383 fan and not the larger hemi fan. I think I paid about $500 for it.
