what year are these valve covers? please help

hi guys! does anybody know which year these valve covers are for? i think they are 68-69 big block but i am not totally sure. once i find out, i can try to find the matching breather and air cleaner. thanks in advance!

Look like the yrs you posted. $89 for the chrome left side breather from Classic! Glad my oem breather still looks good.

I don't think they are for '69 big block 383/440 HP's. Also, '68's have a different bracket to attach the heater hoses on top of the passenger side, that '69's don't have.

The driver's side cover on a '69 would NOT have those 2 spark plug wire brackets, 1 at the back going over the top of the cover, and the other 1 on the intake side of the cover, but it does have the big oil fill tube that the chrome breather cap goes on. The passenger side cover looks OK for '69 though, should have 3 bendable clips on the intake side for the engine wiring harness, and 2 spark plug wire holders for #8 cylinder.

All things considered, they DO look like '69 covers, BUT not BB HP covers. Maybe for some of the non-HP '69 engines?

It appears you have a mis-matched set of BB covers.

The driver's side cover is correct for a 66 or 67 Big Block 361-383-440

The passenger side cover appears to be for a '69 BB HP engine.

Here's a photo of the 66-67 BB covers. Note the 2 spark plug wire brackets like on yours on the driver's side cover. (Bottom cover in photo)
