What's everyone running for rear wheels and tires on their early B's?

I think mine are 15X7 standard offset Cragars with a 245/60 but it looks like a 10" wide and a bigger tire would fit without rubbing. I like a big tire on the rear.

The biggest tire/wheel combo that I can fit no matter if the car is a /6! lol

mine are 30x10.5 which is like 295/75/15 something like that.. on your car. i wouldn't touch it... perfect cruiser as is.. my car will get reverted to that one day, i already know :) Oh.. rims are 8" with 4.5BS and i moved the front of my springs in about 3/8"

I once had a Black '64 Polara 500. I had Cragar SS all the way around. 10" on the back with H50s. Not sure how that equates now days but they were fat!

I went on the conservative side-for now with 17x8s and 18x9s. I have 24 miles on the car and the tires are 11 yo!

I come from the A body crowd where 7" wide wheels and 255-15's are all you can go without carving out the wheel openings. I buy this early B body and there's ton's of room for a wider rim and bigger tire.

275/60x15s on 8 1/2” Americans with 4 1/2” bs on the rear. 225/70x15s on 7”s on the front.

First, I believe the 64, 8 3/4 is wider than the 62/63, or the 65/66/67. Meaning you'll probably need more backspace than those others. I tried a wheel off my 62 on a member here 64, would not come close to fitting.
That said..... I've got a 10.5/28 slick (equivalent of a 295/55x15) on the back of my 62, on a 15x8.5 centerline with 4 7/8 bs, BUT, I need a .300/.350 spacer to keep them off the spring. I've got some 10/28x16s that fit better.
