Which hole on water pump housing is out to heater core, want to install shutoff for summer don't trust original valve.. Thanks

Depending on the vehicle there may not be a valve. In some heater boxes the air is just not diverted through the core.

Any idea which hole on water pump housing is out to core? 440 motor 69.

FYI ... 69 has no valve. But FSM would have the info you want.

Thanks,it shows a pic of what I needed, the hole closest to distributor is outgoing.
