When Mopar guys get together...

Do you annoy your neighbors by doing this?

Haven't spun doughnuts on dirt in years.... Never really liked doughnuts, it doesn't take any horsepower... I can spin doughnuts on pavement never mind about dirt with a Toyota Corolla.... Not impressed... Kinda like Lauren back in HS, fun but anybody could do it.... I prefer a challenge...

Pffft...That is some fun stuff. Driving a rear wheel drive car in the dirt is a blast!
(I never met Lauren)

I'll try to join you some time but it a helluva drive...

you can hang out here, and be home before the wife finds out you're gone... Bring Barry with you

I was thinking more along the lines of Alan Richardson.
But that isnt the first, or second, time I've been compared to Joe

Fly in, you can drive one of our other cars.

There are running cars here but if you'd prefer to live on the edge, Hawk can jump into one of these....

I'm not proud - I'd drive a "patina" car any time. as a matter of fact I did before I restored the 70 Road Runner:

If Hawk shows up he can have his pick...

The green kinda matches my 70! :steering:
I drove both cars today.. Both are fun to bomb around in... Yesterday I put about 90 miles on the red car & did a pretty good launch smoking the tires through first & second...... Just cause they are nice doesn't mean ya can't beat on them some...
My tires on my 70 have aged out. They are not fully worn yet so I may have to end them to Valhalla as they exit... :D

OK. So maybe a cool trip out to the left coast is needed!

it was 2.5 hrs there and 3 hrs home for me. Still made it home before dark and I was very tired, but it was worth it. Thanks KD and Rich. Great to see you guys. KD - also please post your new Torsion bar boot install method. It required 2 people, but it worked better than anything I've seen. Thanks for figuring this out on the fly!

I used to get put on the odd jobs at work because sometimes, I was able to fix or change stuff in the shortest time with the least waste or damage to surrounding structure. My natural curiosity was an asset there.
I do miss that. I still think of returning to some part time.

I built my career in the bulk tanker business by being able to figure out odd unloading situations on the run, first as a driver, and later in management. The upside was a fat paycheck, the downside was projects that could run for two days with no sleep. Rail car derailments were the worst. No desire for that kind of punishment in later years.

When I went back on the truck, I was approached by management to get back into vacuum trailer work, my previous specialty. I told them I forgot how to run one, and was too old to be re-trained.:D
