Hello,
When you stop laughing I hope you will help this old timer.....
When I jack up the rear end of my '65 Dodge Coronet 500 both wheels rotate in the same direction....
Is this a sure grip type rear or an open rear?
I was told it was an open rear by a friend of mine.

If the rear in question is the '65 he owns, I hope no one did that. That's such a nicely done car.

I doubt it but it will amaze you what people do to these cars in the past......

I was just going to say "or maybe a spool". It would have to be removed to tell. (Or a very tight turn)

Super easy to check - if you have only one wheel jacked up and it still turns, it's open.
