Where did you and your car go today

Went out on the highway and by the university in town to take some pictures. A beautiful day for a cruise.

I took mine a couple of times around the block yesterday. We've had quite a lot of rain to wash off any salt and it was about 45* with sunshine. Felt good to get the chance!

That is a nice Coronet. The Cragers always look good on the early B bodies
Snow is better to have fun.

Went for cruise yesterday on an old highway that runs along the Mississippi up to Hannibal, Mo, It reminds me of old route 66. Closer to Hannibal the highway rises above the river and the view is beautiful. I only went about 60 miles of the 100 to Hannibal before turning around needing to get home before dinner quests arrived. I went by the car cruise by my house, no pictures, I was running late. Did get pictures of this biker bar that had people standing by the side of the highway that goes through this little town. They were having a blast and yelled at me to stop. People, bikes, and hot rods all under the shade of these big trees. It looked like they left their troubles behind on this day for a real good party.

Took my new Charger for a ride yesterday. Not too far, just out for coffee and a short drive. Lots of attention from onlookers and a couple of thumbs up from drivers. All in all a great time

Snuck in 45 minutes of me and the Bee time before the madness starts. Didn't even bother dusting her off, as she would have looked the same after the first 3000 feet!

I needed to hear some engine, exhaust and transmission "music"!

33C here today. Ran the hell out of her all over our two towns and she sat right on the 190 stat !

Been anxious to take mine out and feel the newly repaired AC.

But alas, it's been raining here nearly every day.
Didn't rain yesterday, but got cloudy and threatened on my drive home.

Should start to clear up sometime near the end of September.

Post office and the bank today... two towns apart. Good as an excuse as any to hear engine noise. Still waiting to see the Granddaughter ...

I still love your car! Thanks for sharing!!

Went by the party, festival of the little hills on old main street and the river front street. There were thousands of people there. I snapped a few pictures and then headed for the open road.

I have ridden that route several times on the motorcycle. It is a great road.
On the way to St Louis we would come down the Illinois side then ride the golden eagle ferry across the river.
