Getting closer to installing new legendary rear and door panels…. Can’t seem to get thru to Legendary..
I see there are 3 possibilities for rear panels and door panels…
First picture they come 7/8” or 1 1/8” overall length? Seems like the longer ones are too long for rear panels?
The second picture, I don’t know where that style clips go?

Funny thing is that I've pulled many Mopar panels over time and it seems like they are both used. I've found both clips used in various cars. Maybe it was a regional thing?

I have found both styles being used, in 66-7’s.

I just installed a bunch of these as replacements on my 68 Charger, worked great.

Classic Ind. .79 cents each
Are they the 7/8” overall height or the 1 1/8”?
Did you use these on both the door panels and the rear interior panels?
Thanks

Closer to 7/8, definitely not 1 1/8.
The specs are in Class.Ind description.
Yes used them on both interior door panels just last week.

Ok thanks….wasn’t sure if they were too long for the rear panels

I pulled those clips from several '70 Charger door panels and like others said, I've seen both, and no reason or rhyme as to which was used where.

The upper door pads, however, seemed to only use the 2-leg spring-style clips, from what I remember.

Ok, which are the “ 2-leg spring style clips”?
The upper pads are my concern if they’re too long

Do they not include instructions and the tool anymore ? Shame. I'd use the second picture, the way they say to install

These: You align them in the holes in the inside door sheetmetal, then give the upper pads a good smack to jam them in. The upper door pads don't always cooperate. :)

Do you use the “second picture “ style on the rear panels, upper and lower, and door panels?

It doesn't really matter for the front & rear lower pads. I've seen both used. But for the hard upper door pads, I've only seen the 2-leg clips.
Which is first picture?

No matter which style you use, put a bit of silicone grease on them. Helps stop paint chipping and eases the installation.
Mike

As stated above I've seen both used in combo on the same panel from the factory.
I have found the one legged ones to be easier to work with both install and removal. The two legged ones can scratch the hell out of paint during install if not careful. The one legged ones not so much.
