Sounds like you already know what you need to do, ignore your cousin and use them.

thats for sure.you said you are using the factory manifold and exhaust.why would you put big flow between two restrictors.run what you got and spend then cash elsewere better.

Tell your cousin to buy them and you'll put them on. Otherwise run what you have they'll work fine.
