With respect to FBBO member BDF......

I got to move mine yesterday. First time since 2017. Lol

I understand that many owners are "seasoned" citizens and that the comfort of the new cars is appealing.
I still think that if you're a member of a car club, to only drive a Hyundai to meetings and cruises is just wrong.
There are members of the club that have been "working on" some car for the entire 18 years that I have been a member but I've never seen their car on the road.

I was getting some Caramel apples and peanut brittle from a sweet shop.

A common site for me:

Here is one time I drove it to work on a construction site:

KD...
That is one beautiful car.
Few realize the intensity of the build and the
tenacity it takes to see it done.

Wow, That looks the same as it does here in many places.
I haven't been overseas. Hell, I haven't even been to Canada or Mexico but I find it interesting to see that your landscape looks the same as mine.
Great looking car. I like the weathered appearance. It is liberating to drive a car that has some wear on it.

This picture was at Folsom Lake a few weeks back. It almost looks desert-like with the decomposed granite soil.

I was out in Tennessee in June and noticed that the lakes south of Nashville didn't have sand at the edges, just dirt and grass. Our rivers here are like that but the lakes have rocks or this DG soil at the shore.

With snow upon us in PA, the Hemi is done for the season, but after driving it back from Virginia when I bought it, it got out every sunny weekend. People are stunned when they find out it's a real numbers matching car. I was going to drive it to Carlisle next summer, but my wife said no. Can't say much, amazing she told me to buy it in the first place (she has no Mopar interest whatever).

the area where I live is pretty different to California. No endless summer here :-)
You won't find any desert type of areas.

I live in the Ruhrgebiet area. Old industrial belt just like the old north/east of the US

a few pics from another B-body out in the country

Many of our old Mopars have been restored and we have spent hundreds of hours to make them nice. The hardest part of driving our old cars is parking them, since there seem to be countless morons that will bounce their doors off the side of our nice paint job.

My solution is to use magnetic protectors. They seem to work well. My goal is to park in an end spot to lessen the possibility. Look, anything can happen if you drive them - that's what insurance is for. But these magnetic protectors take some of the worry out of it.

So yes, I am all about driving my cars and enjoying them!

Great idea, Hawk. Another one I'd forgotten about was used by another guy with a '69 GTX in the club I joined when I lived in Indiana. He made a set of detachable mudflaps rigged with clothes pins to prevent stone chips on the wheel well area and behind when he drove to shows.

Had the 65 out for a run yesterday.A 30 mile blast down the Interstate I-11.
Now you guys make me feel bad that I didn't take photos. :(

What do you say, people? Have you been out driving your old cars?
I'd like to see other members here post up some pictures of their cars out on the road.
Not car shows, please....Let's see some pictures of your car out being driven!
This is a great idea!! Thanks for sharing!!

I put 3M clear wrap 6" up along the rockers and behind the rear wheel on the A Bodies as they tended to throw rocks out from the wheel wheels.

Just got back from a 500 mile trip in one day. Went to the swap meet in Albuquerque. Just trying to keep up with Dennis H. Need to get some 2.76 gears I was doing 80 and getting passed by every thing.
