You sure the donut shop was really that far away?
Methinks you added in a bit of additional cruising in just for fun!

Sometimes you have to be adventurous
Out here in the country, I've been known to nail some apexes in corners on the "wrong side" sometimes...
Freaks my NE native wife out when I do that.
My reply to her protestations is simple: "Hey, I didn't pay half my taxes". :)

I take up the whole road too. It helps in case you drift off course a bit.

Happens everytime I leave the house.
Absolutely. When I go to jump in the GTX, my wife knows I've told her "going for smokes" or whatever....
but what she knows to hear is "back in an hour - and I'll be needing to put gas in Fred, too."

I drive mine as often as possible if it's not wet and rainy.
I'm also in the not-afraid-to-go-offroad group...some of the best spots are only accessible from dirt/gravel roads...plus dirt burnouts are awesome! No tire wear.:D

a member from here Jake sent this to me back in Dec 2020, , he lives in Oregon, he saw it on instaghm LMAO,,I was going home from the track in Baytown Texas

I drive the wheels off mine, almost daily, weekly at the very least. Put on 3000 miles this year driving to the farm. I don't abuse it, but I bought it to drive. Hoping for a new paint job and rust repair shortly, afterwhich I will still drive it. I've come to the conclusion that I've got the same money in my car as my new truck and I'm not afraid to drive the truck anywhere, so why not drive the car. With agreed value insurance I'm covered.

I've also got a high point 57 Ford Retractable that just sits which is a shame, neat car, but not as fun to drive.

Drive, repair, repeat.

Bad timing on the hibernation trip this year, caught some snow. Luckily no road treatments yet

Since I put in the heater-defroster-A/C unit 2 years ago, I’ve driven in the winter more than ever. Winter here is a relative term though. No snow and it rarely gets below 28 degrees. My tires are “Summer” type and it is not advised to operate them
Below 50 degrees.
Pffft!
I still have NOT charged the A/C.
