Would sea level drop if we.....

It isn't that much with global sea level so far.
IPCC_AR5_13.27.png

0.2 is something like 8 inches. The ship question is interesting, but by my math (taking the equivalent amount of mass to containerships from wikipedia and converting it to water and removing it from the oceans leads to something like one and a half 10,000ths of an inch. I also like the salinization idea, but I think I'd end up peeing out all the desalinized water I drank and that would just put piss in the oceans.

Then there is that pesky moon with its libration cycle. Save this article when the climate change ocean rising hysteria goes full tilt.

Got to get that global warming dig in whenever possible.

"This natural yet amplified lunar cycle will be coupled with higher sea levels caused by global warming, triggering a decade of dramatic surges in the number of days with high-tide flooding on nearly all mainland coastlines in the U.S., Hawaii and Guam."

???? You really buy the sea level rising crap?
Settle down. I notice you get your hackles up quicker than I do!
If you've read anything that I have posted, you'd know that I don't align with any of the Green-Enviro crowd.

But you are quick to be all self-righteous when it suits. :p

When I was young I went in the ocean more than a few times, now, I don't care to be in it, look at it, or live anywhere near it. It belong to the fish, not me!! LOL
I spend most of my childhood in a beach with my abuelita , the ocean remind me of her, if there is a paradi6 for me it would be with my abue Carmen as I used to call her.

Dad was right, buy stocks low and houses high, ground.

I trust the people I know who have worked on the ocean for decades and are responsible for millions of dollars of equipment. It's EASY to prove they're not rising AND more intense hurricane seasons have nothing to do with climate change/global warming :blah::blah::blah: bull crap.

I've wondered why we don't desalinize water for use in areas that don't get enough rain water. If the green crowd is legitimately concerned with rising sea waters, wouldn't this negate some of the rise in the sea?
Because that takes a ton of energy. (Not sure what a "ton" of energy is? But it's watt for cc of water is not feasible at this time.)
