Hey all,

Dave from Brooklyn NY here, just acquired my first ever mopar car...
1973 Dodge Charger, numbers matching 318, 727( I think.? ) and an 8.25 rear...

Gonna be needing all your help; as I plan on going all out and building a daily driver that can keep up, corner and stop like today's cars...

Its nice to have finally found the magic of mopar!!!

The 904 is a great trans unless you got some big hp . The 904 is plenty strong enough for any small block making less then 400hp .
By the way congratulations on the charger lets see some pictures . Any ?'s feel free to pm and ask away I have 4 71-74 charger s right now.

Welcome to the site! Hope you have some pics to post!

Welcome to the bright side of the tracks. FBBO is the MIT for Mopars. Questions asked will be answered by someone knowledgeable in the subject. Ask away. Pics of the car are always appreciated.

Trans is probably a 904, they usually came behind a 318 with a 8.25 out back

You are correct...My 74 Charger is a 318 with a 904 8.25 rear.

Hey - thanks... The trans and engine are freshly rebuilt, engine with a mild cam ..

Is the 904 trans any good?

No complaints here on the 904. Treated me great through the years.

Last one is semi cleaned up and home.

She sat for a long long time in a body shop.

Body was done to perfection but due to being neglected I have to go over some areas ..

Has minor rust underbody - and on the K-Frame, which I'd like to remove and go with aftermarket.

I do have my work cut out for me.. Luckily, I can do most of if it if not all of it on my own.. With you guys helping along the way !

Rule #1 - Never drywall in the vicinity of your car!
Rule #2 - Do not turn the heater blower on!
Rule #3 - A regular face respirator is not going to cut it!
Rule #4 - Do not wear good clothes or a suit or take your wife/girlfriend for a drive until after 5000 miles at 80 m.p.g.
