Added side GTX emblems back on and washed off remainder of bodyshop dust.

After putting hood stripes on car have decided to leave hood inserts black.

Looking good. One question though, why didnt you pill the engine and detail the bay when you had the rest of the car shot?

Didnt have a replacement engine ready at that point and needed to continue to drive since main mode of transportation. Knew if pulled engine at that point it wouldn't be going back in and needed to keep driveable. Not to worry though she'll be looking pretty underhood here real soon to match. Good question though...had thought of it and honestly now glad also didnt do it, pulled and replaced engine myself and banged crap out of inner fenders and back (Im not the steadiest) so new paint would have been jacked up.

Nice job-happy to see got your son involved. Just hope you didn't "pay" him with cheeseburgers and chocolate milk...lol!

Simply amazing, out of all the mopars the GTX is by far my favorite. Great job! Can't wait to see that engine bay all cleaned up

I love the FJ6 and it looks nice. What happened to the top bar of the core support??

Last owner cut it out due to dropping engine on it while taking it out in the early 90's. Has a replacement bolt in one now...have thought about welding in but made for an easier replacement so left it.

Getting closer to be back on road

Well, was having issue with pulleys since not putting an a/c unit back in for now but thankfully due to my hoarding issues figured it out...63 poly 318 crank pulley w/factory aluminum additional third groove inset down below lined everything up perfect. Not a show car so using what have :)

Also, scored a rimblow wheel from junk yard. Has one crack that can be repaired but otherwise pretty nice original. Rimblow switch still works. Need an adapter now though.

Had appendix out last week and today was really first good day to move around and crawl under car so knocked out a bunch of stuff also.

1. New u-joints in driveshaft and replaced back in car
2. Ran trans cooler lines
3. Hooked up shifter linkages
4. Changed trans filter and gasket
5. Changed neutral safety switch out

By this weekend should be ready to fire up...

Need a correct pie tin for cleaner...anyone have a 440 commando one laying around to donate?

Not too worry about the non factory incorrect pieces...will slowly fix to look better. Ran low on $$$ so had to use what was laying around ie. RED ground cable, unpainted brackets etc. Slowly but surely.

Been driving heck out of ole girl, has about 4000 miles added by now. Working all the bugs out slowly and enjoying her.

Added a vintage Chrysler Plymouth Dodge Dealership sticker to rear. It's from one of our local dealers that has been around since 20's. Same decal used back in the day. Stopped by there the other day and the owner said I've got something for ya...great people at Seviers Bros. Dodge!
