Last weekend got a call for outta state guy again, and 2 days later it is on the way. I bought the car from pics, build sheet and tag, how scary.
Car is now in Il, trying to find its was west.

The garage is filling up, projects projects everywhere, and the wife just gives me that look.

So do I need to call Dr Drew, or is this normal?? Sorry gotta go heard bout a great lead on a ..........

I know I'm an addict. I got cars in 5 different areas of the state of Oklahoma.

When you get 8 vehicles and 2 motorcycles, it time for an intervention.

You know you have an auto addiction when...

...you clean parts in the bathtub.

...there is an engine in your living room.

...you ever dated a chick you didn't like because she had a nice car.

...your garage is bigger than your house.

...NOTHING IN MODERATION....

1. at 19 i built my 383 for my 1st Road Runner in a 72 foot Fleetwood trailer in my bedroom (room was 10x 5 )..( yes i was once trailer trash)

2. being a musician, i have over the years collected 25 bass guitars,3 kick *** sound systems, various acoustic guitars...that list is extremely long...........

3. in 1998, i decided that i needed some tattoos..(big mistake, dont do this at home kids)...i sat in the tattooists chair for a total of 7 hours straight, BLED LIKE A STUCK PIG, and emerged with 2 of the biggest , blackest, ugliest tattoos i have ever seen.

4. when i want something...i just go get it..its that simple

..............so.....addiction yes.....we are men and we want toys . thats just how it is.....youre not sick or twisted and you dont need Dr. Phil.

HOW MANY PAIRS OF SHOES AND HOW MANY PURSES IS HIDING IN YOUR WIFES CLOSET? :headbang:

...this is what i cant understand...LMAO .....whoa Bundy !

I find a great part on Craigslist that I don't need and proceed to look for the rest of the car that it goes to.

I at one time had 5 cars but we thinned out the heard uhoh we just changed the model of cars still have 5.
I refer to cars when ever we have a conversation about any topic.
I constantly hear the sound of a healthy exhaust in my head.
My garage is as big as my house.
Every car i see i think of it's potential hotrod status.
My wife wasn't a car person now she is [kinda].

You know you're addicted when you go looking for a new place to live and look at the garage first then the house. If the garage is exactly what you want but the house isn't but you buy it anyways, you're addicted. My first house was that way and my 2nd house didn't even have a garage but there was enough land with it to build what I wanted and it ended up being only 300 sq ft smaller than the house and the house is nearly 1800.....wish I had built a bigger building now lol

When the thought of removing a broken transmission somehow turns into a great way to spend an afternoon!

My fellow Motor heads!
We ARE NOT SICK! Even though some have called us ill.:argue:
We do NOT have character flaws! It's a gift!:headbang:
It is us that has truly been blessed
We are the hardest working members of this society who are caring on the preservation of mankind's greatest achievements. At the worst we are simply misunderstood for the path we've chosen and sacrifices we and our loved ones must indure.:the penguin:

isn't that the truth. i bought the house 12 yrs ago on 30 acres of land. 1869 stone house 1400 sq ft.. 7 yrs ago i built my shop, 1500 ft and 16 ft to the ceiling. 2 yrs ago i put an addition on the house, 1300 ft.. last fall i bought another building for car storage, 1530 sq ft., oh and i forgot to mention the barn that is full of stuff, 3000 sq ft..
isn't this some sign of an addiction. And cranky, you are probably not done building Yet.:icon_sad:

the math: house-- 2700 sq ft barn-- 3000 sq ft
shop--1 1500
storage-- 1530
______ _____
2700------ 6030

Looks to me like you have too much house to garage ratio...you need more garage space!!!!!!!

well...according to my mother, i was saying chevelle, cuda, mustang before i could talk...when i got old enough to work... my car was a 67 camaro rs (beat to ****). after college while renting an apartment i had 3 cars (56 chevy p/up, 64 skylark vert, 66 mustang fastback). And to date including daily drivers i have had: 22 cars 1 motorcycle, and i am sure i am forgetting a few. not too bad for having my license 25 yrs. my wife's uncles garage consists of: 54 corvette,67 stingray vert (both NCRS Top Flight), 62 impala ss409 4spd vert (top flight), 69 camaro ss396 4spd (currently crate motor 454) still has 396 block, porsche 930 turbo vert, and 06 cadilac xlrV. Now i do love my wife...but her uncle was a good selling point!!!

I just bought a mini-warehouse complex because I was running out of room to store parts (and cars that probably should just be parts).

I'm also persuing three more cars.

Bitch I don't have any money.

I think I might have a problem :)

Yup, first thing I look at is the garage, second thing is "can I get a car and trailer between the house and the fence" and "is there room to build a garage" if there's not one.

My first word was "truck", you can ask my mom.

I distrinctly remember a light blue 67/68 Barracuda (and it's fish emblem) down the street when I was 2 or less, and remember mentally cataloging the differences in the GM "fishbowl" busses I rode to elementary school, and trying to figure out which ones were from the same order.

i remember the old 4 headlight GMC buses...in fact i have a distinct memory of looking out of the emergency exit door at my mother getting pulled over trying to beat the bus home to pick me up..hahaha!

Early on in life I had to choose a path between serial killer and hotrodder.
Ya know, it's way easier to hide a 69 Charger from the cops than a dead 110 lbs. hooker.
