Sebring (whole car) - RP23M3G209528 Dark green, dark green interior, dark green vinyl top, 400/auto

Again, probably not what this was intended for, but I've been looking for this car a long time too. My parents bought this car shortly after getting married. My mother traded it sometime in 1985 for an '85 Cavalier at Hendren Chevy in Noel, MO. The car was last seen in Gravette, AR a few years later.

I would just like to know the whereabouts of this car. If it is for sale and I have the opportunity that would be great, but I would just like to know where it ended up...

Can you do a vehicle history report on it to find out if its even registered?

You know I feel like an idiot, but I never thought of that. I guess I need to give that a shot.

Thanks...

Most will only go back to 1980, I did find one once that went back further, but I cant remember the name. Another option is to check the DMV, go to the DMV with the VIN # and they can tell you when it was last registered. That will tell you if it is even been on the road the last several years. (That is of course you know what state it is in)

I tried talking to the DMV in the state where it was sold, but they pretty much told me to bug off... :( that's been several years though...

I found an old car in the middle of a field once, and wanted to see if I could register it into my name as an abandoned vehicle. I just brought the VIN to the DMV to see who it was registered too. They said as long as it had been registered within the last 20 years it would come up, and sure enough it came up with a women that lived in El Paso, Texas. They said that I would have to get her to sign the title if I wanted it. They also said that if it had fallen out of their system I could have just registered it right thenand there and the car would be mine. Just go to the DMV with the VIN and say you found the car in a lot and wanted to know if it was registered to anyone.

never found anything on Mom's Sebring or Dad's 69 RR. Just thought I'd bring this back to the top...

Thanks.
