Race Cars in Progress

There is a thread

You should start another thread in the race section with vintage pics.I don't know of anybody that doesn't enjoy some nostalgia hot rods!!!The paint on these machies were wild and exciting as where the cars.

:iamwithstupid: There is a thread on Vinatge Race cars & Gassers here somewere, I think in general discussion section, I have like 500+ old 60's to 70's old race cars, door cars, dragsters FC's Altereds etc. car photos I got from all over the forums & friends...

Can oval track car projects be posted under this thread?

Sure, why not ?? there are allot of NASCAR, ARCA, USAC fans & people that could be interested... Most guys here seem to be Drag Racers, but I'm sure there are some other racing venues they will respect... Maybe start a thread in the "Welcome Wagon" section, give us some of your background & some photos are always nice, we love our car **** here... Welcome to FBBO forum

Not a B body but at least its a Mopar!

First up is a twin turbo 68 Dart 4130 round tube back half. Street car.

Second is my "driver" a 70 swinger naturally aspirated small block with stock suspension.

My last 63 had the tach on the eyebrow and I never liked it. I decided to go a different route with the gauges. It's all back together now. Pushbuttons for the tranny and heater. My wiring is almost 100% done as well. I will get some updated pics tonight.

Buckeye that is a perty thing there...LOL... Nice Clean, engine bay..

Very nice Buckeye!!!Really like the crossram. These cars almost look out of place without a crossram.Maybe one in the future for the 64.Maybe a few more cubic inches also:icon_silent: :evil6:

I like those myself, Having a older car (thats a IF) i think id be wanting one... They even look mean! Nice picture, sure looks good and those headers do look a bit tight in there but imagine very much worth it. :) Thanks for the pictures..

I thru the oldest to the wolves today.I don't think I can come up with something harder to paint than a roll cage.Even with a rattle can it sucks period.I put a rattle can in his hand and a respirator on his face. Then told him have at it.He did a nice job with little coaching. He has been busting his ***!!!!!He is up at 5am to weight lift for football for 2hrs,lifts another hour during gym, runs track 2.5hrs after school, maintains honor roll(so proud of him,I am so glad to put that ugly sticker on my truck)and even with all this he still finds time to hang out with dad!!!!!The car is moving along and things are really good.Sorry having proud dad moment!

That's a good boy, great to see the younger generations get involved...

Never say your sorry for having a "proud dad moment" moparpoor, Its great! All he does and has time to spend helping you is commendable.. Its great having your son helping on your project, I only have one son and he likes helping me but my son in law, heck, hes always around helping do something to.. Its great to have the boys around to enjoy the time and company, and helping get our projects all ready to go...
