DetMatt's new digs!

Nice shop you got there Matt. Can I use a very small place of it for my project? LOL, just kidding I live in Washington anyways. Hope for the best for you and Good Luck in your endeavors. I'm back home btw and waiting for my 1970 RR to arrive should be here by July 2nd.

:headbang: I out grew my 1500 shop within a year and I know all too well what you are talking about when you say you spend the day rearranging so you can work on something else! I'm jealous lol. Been thinking about looking for a place out of town that has at least 20 acres and a 5000 sq ft metallic building so I can build 'living quarters' inside and work in it too but man, at 61, I don't know if I have it in me to make that kind of a move. A Bridgeport, 15" LaBlond lathe, welding machines and a slew of metal working machines don't move on their own not to mention all the junk I've accumulated that's 'too good' to throw away! My wife said she's good with that plan tho...:hello2:

nice building matt.Since you do woodworking can i send a Chittenden&Eastman 4 drawer dresser w/ a 2 foot square mirror? How long do you think it will take to fill that up?

Congrats! Now you have room for all the projects and more. I will trailer my 69rr up there for some help since you have room. Joking, im happy for you.:headbang:

Great news Matt and congratulations! I remember the days when my 2600 sq ft shop was empty! That empty feeling didn't last long.

i can relate to that cranky. i am 62 and i am not moving again. i have 1500ft shop with 16ft ceiling and 2 hoists, one 4 post and one 2 post. i have nowhere near the machinery you have and i feel squezzed. i have acres so i am putting up another 1500ft kit steel shop for car storage, oh i forgot, the 3000ft barn is starting to fill up with parts.

hey mat, take some time and plan it out. its a pain in the *** 6 months to a year from now when you start rearranging to be more efficient. :headbang:

Great to see the mad scientist getting his evil lab.....MuuuuHawawawawaaaaaa.....

Congrat's man. Nice pad. Looks like a real good stomping grounds for you and your heard of mopars.

Hmmm, guess you can call it the dog house. Cuz that's where your going when the little lady is upset with you......
Bwa ha ha ha...

Seriously, it looks great and congrats. You did check to see that the Imp would fit in there, right?

Thanks man!
Yes the Imperial will fit in this shop and it's a good thing too because it doesn't fit in my garage at home, it's about an inch too long! Or should I say that the garage is about two feet short front to back to fit the long coupe in there comfortably.

I'm liking it Matt, my garage, basement and attic are busting at the seams and I could use some room myself! Yep, I can see you filling that up in short order.
