I got it for christmas like 2 years ago and im 17 now and fixing her up and was wondering whats the best way to clean the push rods on a 7.25 an hour budget lol But I love this car and wouldn't trade for anything. I have even had a guy offer me 20 grand for it. And when we finally got new tires the old ones had factory tubes in them from 73. Well thanks for looking and hope you can help!! :D

Nice , plus you got a mini me too:headbang:

Nice.

Should be a 904 trans, unless special ordered (trailer pkg?).

Let's see more pics- int and engine.

...and of the model :)

FYI- there is a "mom and pop" company that makes flat hoods for the "Daisy Duke" RR kit to turn it into a Satellite- "Missing Link" IIRC.

Interesting that you say specifically "cleaning the push rods".
I don't know if I've ever heard that as a specific complaint.

Welcome aboard, great gift/car!

Random, A sharp looking car, But i noticed no one answered your question, Soak them in some solvent or cleaner for a few days and use compressed air to blow them out should do the trick.

I dunno, seems if your pushrods are all plugged with gunk, then the whole valvetrain and prob the rest of the motor needs a thorough cleaning as well.

Ohhh yeah it could use a professional rebuild, but im just trying to clean the best I can before school starts.
