I did a trade with my Brother in Law Ulf, a computer IT/Tech expert, he traded me a new bad a$$ computer, that he built especially for me, & a 21" flat screen, with Windows 7 & some "hot damn fast processor", for a golf lesson & fitting, with some top notch quality, full set 3-PW, SW, TW w/graphite shafted irons & wedges, with graphite shafted metal woods, 460cc Titanium Driver, Double strap Callaway Light Weight Carry bag & Custom putter {with my custom golf clubs & a few of my old personal golf stuff}, I made sure he's ready to play & that I made specifically for him.... OMFG Damn guys it's like a Top Fuel Car in comparison, to my old Pinto of a computer, which I thought it was pretty good/fast too, but it really wasn't at all... Now when downloading & changing pages, it's like lightning speeds...LOL... Really the only bad thing is, now I need a new damn Digital camera & software, because my old VivaCam-20 digital camera {pre-historic crap}...LOL... that I just recently learned how to use {well kind of anyway}, now can not be supported or downloaded, it's too old for any new driver updates for my new Top Fuel speed operating system... I don't wait for anything hardly now & it's nearly instantaneous loading, even for bigger files, You-tube Videos & multiple photos etc., I've had high speed INTERNET for a few years just never had this capability & speed even with the H/S stuff... It's freaken' awesome fast, even with multiple pages/programs open, :headbang: I just wanted to gloat/brag a little !!

Hope we don't lose you once you discover what's out there that you've been missin...

Congrats on the new computer, Bud! It makes a big difference when you got some good stuff to work with! Pour some Nitro in it and it will even go faster! Lol

Sounds cool...oh i gotta go, gotta log off internet so my kid can use the phone...see ya

all thats greek to me, sad part with computers is that in 2 months (or less) computer will be out dated. I hate electronics!

Greek OK....LOL... yeah & golf equipment isn't much different either, people always want the newest greatest thing, that they see some pro on TV play with, that they probably shouldn't use, then just be fitted for a proper set of clubs, to fit their abilities, just like I did for my Bro-in-law, instead of just blindly buying, some brand or just what there favorite pro plays etc., they would actually play better if fit properly, just like I surf better now.... Computers & Golf equipment are very much alike in those regards, most stuff changes about every 3-6 months lately... stupid sheeple falling for advertisement & marketing gimmicks

Congrats ! Having a good pc makes big difference

I have a fairly fast computer with lots of memory but it's getting old already. As for my camera....I'm still using one that uses a floppy disc :D but I got lucky and found a new floppy drive that plugs into my USB port lol. I'm the same way with my cars....was still running points up until not too long ago.

welcome to the twenty-first century Buds!!! lol

yeah it's nice thanks Mario it's really nice to be able to see stuff, easier & much faster & not just pass by, just because I think it will take too long to load, or something... maybe I will drink less coffee & beer now, I don't need to get up, just to waste time waiting for things to load...LOL...

Bart, careful how fast you drive the new machine.

You might burn it up. Dan. :monkeydance:

So Budnicks...You been holding out on me. I am in the same racket as you. I am a Golf Teaching Pro and also a club maker and builder. I do fittings as well. Been in the business now for the better part of 25 years. Got an "A" Game to boot. So where is the first hole and what's the course record????:tongue5:

Nah, if you get a really good computer, it'll be like 2 or more years before its outdated. Other than mopars, my hobby is computers, and I built myself a gaming computer about 3 years ago and its still running strong. Then again it was like cutting edge when I built it, so...yeah!

I guess a 15 year old with an addiction to mopars has to find something to do other than work on cars all day!

:iamwithstupid: Unfortunately I don't golf a whole lot, well right now anyway, I use to golf sometimes twice a day during the week, when not working or racing... I was a golf addict...LOL.. I had back issues the last 3 years or so, compressed disc's & 3 bad vertebrates, right between my sholderblades... I just took a long break, to heal-up, I will maybe start playing some again soon, I haven't forgot how, I can actually even get a USGA/NCGA handicap again too, because I don't have any Professional status any longer... But I've been doing some form of golf, playing, fitting, instruction, tournament play for about 25-30+ years or so now too, not much when I was younger, my Pops golfed & I thought golf was, just for old men in polyester pants/cloths, to get away from their wives...LOL.. I was a racing, football, baseball & track guy, not golf...LOL... I got tired of always paying someone else for such an easy thing to build, like golf clubs, I liked to try allot of different equipment & it can get very expensive, if you don't do your own stuff... I 1st started building clubs for a few of my racing buddies, paid for my stuff sometimes, we would all go to play days we couldn't qualify, when I was away from home racing mostly... I played for a couple of years before even posting a score or keeping score even... I had friends that wanted me to play in tournaments, so I stared keeping score & got a handicap, found out I was allot better than most of the people I played with... Then took the Maltby & then Advanced Golfsmith schools, I pretty much knew about 95% of what they taught me already, but wanted to be accredited... I tried to play the Hogan Tour{prior to the Nike Tour}, Pepsi, Maxfli, Topflite, Calif. & Sunshine or other select mini tours, not much money to be made... I barely paid for my expenses, I devoted 3 years of my life, putting everything on hold, playing & working/practicing or trying to be just a Professional Golfer... I never got anything more than a conditional status, or just Monday qualifying... There are allot of really good, young, strong golfers, that have held a club & been playing since birth almost, coming out of colleges & had instruction their whole lives.. I was the old guy, in all most all my groups, until I joined Oakhurst CC in Clayton Ca., while worked my Construction consultation company...LOL... I'm not affiliated with any course or tour, "at all, any more"... I then moved from the SF Bay Area, Concord Ca. were I lived most all my life, moved to Rancho Murieta in Sloughhouse Ca., east of Sacramento off Hwy 16/Jackson Hwy, a great Gated Golf communityty @ Rancho Murieta CC, 2 great hard golf courses, from early 1997- Dec. 2007 played about 350+ rounds a year, practicing allot prepping for the Senior/Champions Tour, when I turned 50 y/o... I only got worse, not better, went from shooting 66's to shooting 76's...LOL... I owned a small Pro-shop for awhile also... I purchased a house in East Sonora in 2004, put my Pops in it, while I stayed in RM & I latter moved to Sonora Ca. area in Dec. 2007, closed my pro-shop, to buy a golf course with my Pops, have a family legacy type thing & have the Pro-shop at a golf course, you have completely different buying power, when you have a "Course Affiliation/Ownership" {move my old Pops off the mountain with 5' of snow all the time too, kill two birds with one stone sort of}, unfortunately the market took a big a$$ dump in early 2007, about 2 months before I moved & finally sold my house in Rancho Murieta, for $100k less than the peak market prices... I lost a ton of money in the market, about 40% of my portfolio at that time, too much risky high dividend stock, 401K crap & mutual funds taking a dump, that would have been a big part of my start up or borrowing capitol & my Pops was going to contribute too, things just got worse from there & here I sit today, telling the whole damn world, my life story now...

I used to flog,er,I mean "golf" and I could drive and putt like a mofo. The game in between was a lot like my current XP-equipped 'puter-erratic as you-know-what.
