15x8.5 T70's with 255-60's all around. The fronts rub a bit but only going over a bump in a slight turn. Stiffer torsion bars may solve that problem, plus it can use them anyway.

Ooops, I have no idea why the pics are there twice. I thought I deleted the larger file but I guess not.

Since you asked...I think it looks great. And those are exactly the right wheels for that car.

Looks awesome. I never really was into first gen chargers, but damn if i cant take my eyes off your car.

I like it Meeps. Perfect for that car. I dont know why people diss the gen 1 Chargers. I think the interiors on them is absolutely awesome. Rear buckets and all that console!!

looking very good :headbang:

look good.any reason you whent so big up front?just wondering.

Looks great....think a bit more back spacing would have worked better on the front?

Looks good, they need some meat in the rear wheel wells for sure.

295/50's on 10" rims on the rear of mine. (yes the blue is still on the white letters)

I had 4 T70 wheels is all. Plus I figured they would fit (barely).

With these old wheels you are pretty much stuck as far as BS is concerned. They are hard enough to find as is much less having a variety of BS choices. But I'm sure you would know better than I as I was a bit to young in 1970 to be looking at buying wheels! If there is a vintage T70 available with a deeper BS I'd like to know about it. FYI: These T70 wheels were only made between Jan and June 1970.

Front tires look a bit 'heavy' IMO, but fine. I'm guessing you went same size all the way`round so you can get the full benefits of tire rotation...I wouldn't change them for sake of appearance.

I like it a lot. I think it would be even more appealing if it had more of a rake to the front. Not huge, but just enough.

Yep. Because I typically wear out more than one set of brakes on my old junk I also like to keep the tires rotated. I do agree the fronts are a bit "heavy" but not in a hurry to change them.

I was never and still not a fan of the 66/67 Charger (except the interior, which I think is the coolest), but these wheels take the sting out of it. One thing I will say is the general public doesn't care. They see the car and like it because it's a cool old car on the road. Funny how only us MoPar guys have a hang up on that body style.

I can see the staggered size works well on these cars. Maybe if I find a pair of 15x7 T70's I'll try them out.

Don't worry about the large front tires. Fact is, the fronts do most of the braking and pretty much all of the steering, so leave that footprint nice and sticky.
