aluminium radiator install

I got mine from champion and it was direct fit...best warranty in the business.....

A 4 row shouldnt have any problems with the fan?

they show dimensions...check them out and compare

Mine fit my '69 RR but I had to drill holes but I have no idea whether my RR was factory 22" or 26" radiator cause it didn't have it's factory radiator when I got it.

I just hope i don't have to drill any holes and i can get my factory shroud on

anyone know the size of the factory fan spacer? with no a/c .no clutch

From what I've read, the four-row aluminum radiators are a bit of a gimmick. The implication is you have four rows of the same tubes found in a two or three-row unit, but they actually use four rows of smaller diameter tubes so you're not really getting the benefit from four rows that they imply.

My question to you is the ad you linked to is for a 22" radiator, but I believe the smallest radiator used in 71-74 Road Runners was a 24". Is 22" the size of your current radiator? I thought the 22" radiators were in /6 A and E body cars.

All the radiators ive seen for my rr are all 22 inch .i don't have a/c so i know its not 26in.

I got a Griffin denominator service one with dual cross flow of 1.25" tubes biggest ones I found during searching.

If u look on page 7-16 of the 71 plymouth chassis manual it shows the radiator sizes for each engine.

RAD (Radiator):
The two digits are the last two digits of the part number of the radiator:

61 = 3443961 22" 383 auto
62 = 3443961 22" 383 manual
38 = 3443938 22" 383/440
40 = 3443940 26" 383 A/C
59 = 3443959 26" 383/440/HEMI
60 = 3443960 26" 383/440 A/C

My broadcast sheet says RAD 61

Will i need different fittings to trans lines going into the rad or use originals?
