do you happen to have a good pic of the bottom side of the hood? the one I am working on is the same color. looks like fun good luck. postcar. BTW. welcome to the forum.

That looks familiar! Welcome to the site from the Motor City!
Great looking project you have there, are you building this for yourself? Does it have its fender tag or build sheet? Original drivetrain? If it still retains all its original equipment and tags I would have a hard time deviating from original but ultimately if you're building a keeper you should build it the way you want.

Welcome aboard the madness man, looks like a great project!!! Best wishs..

A68post car, if its the small holes your concerned with about the air grabber stuff, I may be wrong but i think the holes are the same in all the hoods, Just thought id mention it and i have been wrong buddy so don't take my word for it, that's what i was told though..

HI Matt!!!! been a long time and id love to PM ya but i have to go, hows the Junk yard dog coming along, i do know you are one busy dude!

Great project, good luck and keep us posted. :headbang:

Welcome to the madness. As always your car build it the way you like. The only time i wouldn't is if was rare. I do like factory look.just curious why did you remove both inner fenders?

hi and welcome to the site . this will be another build to watch keep us updated :headbang:

it does have a fender tag , never looked for the build sheet. it doesnt have the original drivetrain, was a 383 now a 440 , 30 yrs ago my uncle grenaded the 4spd trans now it has an ebody 4spd ( so I'm told, as per shifter mounting point) does have buckets and a console . I am planning on keeing it , but may have to be retirement funds later????

the reason I removed the front inner fenders is, the d/s was totaly shot and the p/s need some repair work

Welcome and good luck with your build. I was looking at a '69 before I settled on my '70 so I'm looking forward to following along here. As for the colour go with your gut feeling, it's yours for all time so you have to be happy with it. Although I am a bit partial to your original colour there lol :toothy5:.
