That looks familiar! Welcome to the site from the Motor City!
Great looking project you have there, are you building this for yourself? Does it have its fender tag or build sheet? Original drivetrain? If it still retains all its original equipment and tags I would have a hard time deviating from original but ultimately if you're building a keeper you should build it the way you want.

it does have a fender tag , never looked for the build sheet. it doesnt have the original drivetrain, was a 383 now a 440 , 30 yrs ago my uncle grenaded the 4spd trans now it has an ebody 4spd ( so I'm told, as per shifter mounting point) does have buckets and a console . I am planning on keeing it , but may have to be retirement funds later????

          - - - Updated - - -

the reason I removed the front inner fenders is, the d/s was totaly shot and the p/s need some repair work

          - - - Updated - - -

I'll try and remember tomorrow to pull the hood out and take a pic for ya , you do want pic of air grabber hood right? I am ging to save mine but a sixpack hood will be on when its done

Welcome and good luck with your build. I was looking at a '69 before I settled on my '70 so I'm looking forward to following along here. As for the colour go with your gut feeling, it's yours for all time so you have to be happy with it. Although I am a bit partial to your original colour there lol :toothy5:.

Build it like you want, with no regrets! It's for you not someone else and no 2 people like everything the same way. PS I like 6 pak hoods!
