Hey guys! Finally getting back to the project after a VERY busy 2021. Installing a new right door jamb and I see this piece that’s not on the old jamb or quarter panel. Anyone know what it’s all about or have good pics? As always, thanks for the help!

So I came to the conclusion this tab is for a window post car, can anyone verify this?
