Today is my Birthday . . .
Well, I made it to yet another Birthday, that's much better than the alternative ! ! Now If I can get done with all this golf league setup stuff and get back out to the shop and work on the car ! ! !

Look what arrived when I got back from my weekend trip . . .
Had a weekend trip set up to run up to Ohio and meet up with 747Mopar again, and Goon ( Mike ) was making the trip down there to pick up all his 6 speed conversion parts . . . HAD A GREAT TIME ! ! !
It was great to get an opportunity to meet up with Mike - he's a really great guy, and we all had a great time - including a trip to Summit ( what car guy wouldn't like that ) . . . shooting a whole BUNCH of different guns . . . working on 747 Mopars Charger ! ! ! And the opportunity sit around and talk about CARS ! !
The only BAD thing about the weekend - it went TOO darn FAST and we all had to make our trips back home . . . ARGH ! ! We'll have to plan to get together again - it was one for the memory books !
A snow storm blew through West Virginia the day before I headed up to Ohio, and I drove through a BUNCH of snow, and slush on the the roads, with all the salt ( my truck is a mess ) . . . here was a dry patch of road so I could shoot a couple pics . . .
Other things . . .
So, I ordered my Belvedere T-shirts so I could take them up to Ohio with me and show them to Devin and Mike - of course, the did not show up in time for me to bring them, and ( of course ) they were sitting in the mailbox upon my return ! !
Here they are . . . haven't had a chance try them on yet . . .
I got a couple in Large and (1) in XLarge - so I can figure out which one fits better . . . They look really nice ! ! ! ( smile )

Cranky . . . according to my daughters, I was "over the hill" many years ago and on the downhill side ? ! ? ! ? ( sigh ) . . .
I'll just take it one day at a time ! ! ! ( smile )

I seriously can't say enough nice things about both you and Devin (747) It was an awesome weekend and given our strict gun laws on this side of the border it was too cool to be able to go shooting with these guys and have such a variety to shoot! The weekend did go by too fast and I agree all the more reason to do it again! and just wait and see how much fun it is when all 3 of us have our cars!!
Shirts look great I love the colors you went with!
I'll be looking forward to seeing the Kahn Vert come together as the weather gets nicer hopefully that starts SOON!!!

SO sorry for that delay . . . trying to get back in the shop . . .
So sorry for the delay on the updates, the golf league starts it's announcement for the first outing tomorrow - and I'm scrambling to get some of the last things in place for this year ( it's been an challenging upgrade on the website ).
The weather has broken, and the temps will no longer prevent me from getting to the shop, just need to get the golf league stuff wrapped up so I can ( hopefully ) start this year off a little better than last year . . .
Updates should begin being posted shortly ! ! !

So this golf league..........are you Chevy Chase, Rodney Dangerfield, or Bill Murray?
Pics of things that have gotten done . . .
I have got into the shop a little that past week, but the time was so minimal that I didn't take any pictures . . . Here's some phots of the work that I'm slowly getting done . . .
Got the Forward strut welded in place . . . here's the firewall attachment . . .
And 747 Mopar suggested that I weld the shock tower all the way around, so it wont crack when it's finished . . .
So the front and the back of them are getting welded . . . I'll take the suggestion and make it so !
Hope to get more shop time now . . . and anxious to get back at it ! ! !

And the final parts of my New Shineys have arrived . . . YAY
Got a TXT from my daughter that my box was delivered today, and got home to find some more Very Nice Shineys for the Belvedere . . . goy the last of my parts, the motor mounts, and the double adjustable Viking Coil Over Shocks ! ! !
Check them out . . . boy are they NICE ! ! !
I can't say enough about the all the quality stuff that I've gotten from MagnumForce . . . the front end is AWESOME, and I can't wait until I can get these parts installed in my car ! !
Now, with the motor mounts, I've got to figure out how to get the engine and transmission in my car, get the tunnel cut, get the replacement tunnel from the 2014 Challenger fitted, and get it all welded back together ! !
I'm excited . . . and ready to go ! ! ! ( SMILE )
