It was announced during the telecast both Saturday and Sunday that Rodger Brogdon sold his entire Pro Stock operation to the Elite Motorsports group and is stepping away from racing to concentrate on his roofing business in Texas. I'm sure there were other Pro Stock teams that decided to pass on Denver, or possibly the entire Western Swing, just like Erica did last year in order to save travel/race costs.

Tuesday-before-the-event reminder for the upcoming Sonoma Nationals at Sonoma Raceway in Sonoma, CA!
Pro Qualifying starts at 7:15PM EDT (4:15PM PDT) Friday, July 31.
Your picks must be posted to this game thread before the start of Pro Qualifying. Top Fuel, Funny Car, Pro Stock and Pro Stock Motorcycle will all compete at this event.
The NHRA website currently shows 16 Top Fuel, 18 Funny Car, 17 Pro Stock and 19 Pro Stock Motorcycle entries for the Sonoma Nationals, but this could still possibly change.

Please check to verify your picks are racing at this event. We have two players with a "locked in" Pro Stock pick of Rodger Brogdon. He recently sold his entire Pro Stock operation to Elite Motorsports and will not be competing the remainder of the season.
Also, Jeg Coughlin Jr. will be competing in an Elite Motorsports entry in Pro Stock at both the Sonoma and Seattle events remaining on the Western Swing.
In addition, Angelle Sampey in Pro Stock Motorcycle is skipping the Western Swing
