Sonny would like to know 2 things....#1, I would like to try an Edelbrock Performer RPM & 750 Holly , DP 906heads.....Question...will my stock hood close? (clearance?)...
#2, is this combination... feasible ?......
I need to go faster,lol...I have enough trophies I can put the stock stuff on the shelf. (I am all up in the air)



#3 should i leave things alone?..runs ok not too fast prob.,14sec...drears

Pocket port 906 heads & pick up a ton of power. Intake & carb combo is really a hard thing. I've been a single plane guy an old TM7 is hard to beat, Holley 3310 780 is a really easy carb to deal with. But 650 or a bit bigger Holley DP work really well, but you need to work with them. Jets, squirters, accel pump cams all need tinkering.
 
Yeah .300" is about 473 ci. The problem being the pistons would swimming in the water jackets. Isn't the 413 a 4.180 bore? I believe that .070" overbore is 426 ci.
Yup, it's 4.180 or .187 can't remember exactly.
 
YEAH......and it's 413.16 ci too.

C'mon Sonny....where are ya!? A 14 second car isn't bad but now a days, a V6 Mustang can keep up with it or even out run ya depending on where it is in the 14 second range. It's not too hard to go 13's with today's parts etc and that would give you some insurance of not getting beat by most of those V6 cars. It's unreal how fast the new junk is these days.
 
you can close the hood with a ch4b. performer rpm will need some type of drop base air cleaner. when you start making power what will happen to the t-10?
 
To figure cubic inch displacement for an engine, the ONLY somewhat complex math formula I can remember, is : bore squared x stroke x number of cylinders x .7854. Example would be 4.25 x 4.25 [bore] x 3.75 [stroke] x 8 [cylinders] x .7854 [which is called a constant].
 
Have you been a good boy and Santa has some engine presents for you, or is your brother giving you some lip about how much power his RR makes? The frugal mechanic would just leave it alone but in the end your decision.
