I wish, Im trying to get ready for the Pate swap meet, this is the 1st time in 14 years it doesnt fall on the same weekend. Ive been putting off fixing the trailer and getting all my stuff together in order but to pull out Weds morning.
Cranky, Pointblank, & CDR are pretty close , you guys going?

Used to go all the time.....not so much anymore. The track is only about 20 miles away and when the wind is right, I can hear the TF cars.....

It's been about 9 years since I've been to a "top fuel" event. Nothing can match being there in person to experience the impact of those cylinders firing off.
Going back Sunday, then heading back home. Seems to be a great track.

The track is good when NHRA takes it over and preps it for the big guns but it sucks most of the time for the weekend warriors.

I didn't even do that!! If I can't be there or participate in some form, well, don't want to be there or watch on TV.....at least one of my last full passes around 2003 or so was one that was worth mentioning.....
