We are going to hold our second Mopar FBBO/FABO barbecue and picnic on 5/21/17 starting at 1:00 PM. We need to have a head count, so when you RSVP via a PM, I will give you the address to my wife's and my home. We will furnish burgers and dogs and we ask that each person bring a side dish or dessert for 12. The above photos are from the picnic last year. Everyone is invited (even if you aren't in the tri-state area) as long as you can make it here! Bring your Mopar or if it isn't running, bring your daily driver instead. I figure that we can host at least 15 to 20 cars, so we hope you can make it! This is open for families as well, as long as they can stand the Mopar talk that will be happening.

This event seems to be more popular on FABO than here, but know that we love all vintage Mopars, so consider joining us please.

We still haven't received any RSVPs from FBBO members. Aren't any of you interested in meeting and dining?

If I can get out of another commitment that weekend I would gladly accept - let me see what I can do.

And since my RR is still in the same state as in my Avatar update (last October) would probably be taking the Durango R/T down...or possibly my Ford F-150 truck :)

Damn I wish we still lived in jersey. I would be there that's only 15 minutes from where I used to live. I wonder if Misha shop knows about this?

Just three days away from the carbecue now! PM me if you haven't already and let us know that you can make it here.

Well, it's all over but the leftovers. We had a great time. If you weren't able to join us, keep your eyes open for the third annual carbecue around this time next year.

Thanks to everyone for your participation!

More pics? Would've loved to be able to be there.Even with the daily driver!

I only took a few photos. Only two cars joined my two cars that were already here, so there really weren't any other cars to photograph. It was a pretty small affair. A few additional people we expected were unable to join us for reasons unknown at this time. Here is the onLy other photo that I have:

I would ask anyone who prays to say some prayers for a Mopar friend who intended to come today, but he found out two weeks ago that he has some pretty bad cancer and he had to start chemo. His name is Wayne, so I'd appreciate it if you could also keep him in your prayers. Many thanks!

FYI, I recently bought the super nice Mopar flags seen in the photos from FBBO member Lawrence Reynolds ($20 each). Contact him if you want one too - he probably still has some left.

I don't know where my mind went, but today's date was 5/20/17 (not 5/21/17 as advertised). For some reason, we thought today was the 21st so we had the carbecue today. So if you planned on coming, it is already finished :BangHead:. I am so sorry that I screwed the dates up! We intended it to be on a Saturday (and so it was).

My sincere apologies friends!

We will try to schedule another carbecue inSeptember or October. I promise I will get the date correct for that one. Sorry!

are you fellas going to carlisle?
Everyone goes to Carlisle!

Yes, everyone goes to Carlisle - except when it is 100 degrees and humid. I haven't been there for at least ten years. My GTX would have overheated if I tried to drive it there, but now that the Barracuda is running fairly well, it might make it (though it still doesn't run that well). I will go if Jim (Fratzog Lover) can make it. Maybe I'll just drive the Denali out there.
