I've acquired what can only be described as a "project car" ( 65 Belvedere, 1970 440, a/t ), where someone, years ago, converted the front brakes to discs. The car rides way to low in front for my liking, and before I crank up the torsion bars and all that connected stuff... can anyone tell by just looking at the attached pic... if the spindle is stock or shorter than stock?

Anyone have the approximate dimension from the bottom to the top of the spindle ?

You can see on the upper control arm where the bumper hits it ... often.

Thank you, in advance .

If the car is "low" why is it hitting the stop on the upper control arm ?!?! It should be bottoming out on the LCA bumper.

grab 73 and up drum spindles, better for bumpsteer, fits the aftermarket kits for brakes, if you think your ride is too low, drop spindles are not for you, sounds like someone adjusted your torsion bars all the way down if your too low, brads70 did a write up about spindles, I'll try to find it ****edit*** I found it but all the pics are not working due to photobucket changing their site and trying to screw everyone into paying to show their pics
