for me it was 18 months ago......... heart attack at 51, now I'm like "F it!"

I feel great, thank God and work my *** off like it never happened....... but there has been a definite change in my attitude

that really blows, sorry to hear that...... mine was on and off for 4 days, until I came to grips that something was wrong. It actually came on full blown on the ultrasound table...... I am one of the lucky ones

When my kid sister died at 49 and then my Mother 7 weeks later in 2009. My Daughter's 6 year Ewing's sarcoma battle and passing in 2015 was the final straw. Fortunately I've busted my ***, 16+ hours a day, self employed since I was 23 years old and am in a position at 56 that I can truly not give a ****.

sorry to hear about the heart attack mark.. sounds like you are ok now..

not to late to start taking care of yourself... straighten out the diet and start doing some exercise. not giving a **** is a poor attitude unless you don't want to be around much longer..

"generally speaking" folks........... of course we all have things that are important to us, ie pride in our families, pride in our work, ect....... but there comes a time when we realize most everything else doesn't matter

I find that "generally not giving a ****" is quite liberating , I highly recommend it

I've always had an attitude towards anyone in an authoritative role. Especially through high-school/teenage years.
My rebellious attitude has grown immensely since then. I can certainly respect others opinions and points of view but man, you better not be stating those opinions as fact towards me or anyone I know.
